Chicken salad with pineapple - fresh summer salad, perfect for picnics or the beach

Image : http://www.flickr.com

I think for most people, something with chicken, salad impressive. I think a very difficult period, someone does not want (except, perhaps, a vegetarian, but I want to introduce you to them - if they have forgotten or do not know who ate chicken - would have liked). So, this is a pretty good base - I think.

I also think that most people like sandwiches. Mixing the two ..? Sounds good, right? I think so, and you are likely to try this recipe. Let'sgo!

For this dish you will need the following things:
cooked chicken, finely chopped
Salad dressings (mayonnaise is the usual, but use what fits with the chicken).
To taste, salt and pepper.

As you may know, when it comes to salads, there are lots of ways to vary this is (there are a lot of optional ingredients that you might want to try or not). I'll give you some examples of these (as in silence, simply no good reasonall of them, and most importantly, it would take weeks).

Let's start with the vegetables start-things: broccoli, mushrooms, spinach, carrots, peppers (and many others). You can also completely different things, such as olives, crushed fruit, spices that you do not like cucumbers, hard boiled eggs.

Actually, what I've done so far is the basic ingredient in "a sandwich with salad." We go to a chicken salad sandwich real!

They are, in addition toI mentioned as basic ingredients, the following:
cooked chicken - 2 cups, finely chopped
4 green onions, chopped
4 slices of bell pepper
1 stalk celery, finely chopped
1 can of crushed pineapple
Salt and pepper

For the dressing, you must:
Dijon mustard - 2 tablespoons
Lemon / lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
Mayonnaise - 4 tablespoons

This is how this dish that is designed for 4-6 sandwiches made:
Cook the chicken, then cool. If youis cooled, cut into small pieces - and give in a bowl. Add to admit the bowl, the other ingredients and mix. Add salt and pepper.
Or eat immediately or refrigerate for several hours.

5 Simple Summer Suppers

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Summer is here and then a rise in temperature. No one wants to stick to the kitchen, on a hot day with the oven. No, you can not manually to a pop tart or a box of cereal and tell them to get out of hair, even if it's really what you're doing better. I invested in George Foreman Grill, then in summer I spend a lot of time to prepare food or use the outdoor grill. So take a look at these suggestions and see if you do not succeed, first out of the kitchenand still give the kids a cheap and quick dinner, and you lose the heat.

1. eggbeater omelette - Put a little 'eggbeater south-west in a pot once it's finished add some cream cheese and fold over. Serve with fresh fruit for a fantastic quick and easy meal that can be enjoyed any time of day.

2. Salads are not just a good way to fight the summer heat, but they are cheap and easy to do. You can create a base of lettuce and tomato if you like. Or you can put a little 'dressCheese, boiled eggs and a pack of sandwich meat. Serve with avocado half stuffed with sour cream or cream cheese. Chill and mix of fresh fruit for a fruit salad for dessert.

3. Chicken Salad. Great for the chicken to the left, or buy a precooked chicken in the shop to save time, de-bone some grapes and pecans, mix with low-fat mayonnaise and mix some 'mustard honey. You can check this on a bed of salad served as a sandwich, a wrap and it makes a bigSandwiches too.

4. BLT with a twist. I think I cooked bacon on hand at all times. Mix the tomatoes, cucumber and mayonnaise and spread on a whole wheat wrap and then layer some lettuce and bacon evenly over the foil and roll up. Cut diagonally and with some raw broccoli that are served with fresh lemon juice ... yummy!

5. Pea salad there. Nothing better than a good salad of peas. I take a can of early peas (English peas), drain and add 2 eggs,a small Vidalia onion, finely chopped ¾ cup shredded cheddar cheese. Mix it all put together with some mayonnaise or ranch dressing and a touch of mustard and cold. Serve on a bed of chopped lettuce with some boiled eggs and sliced ham. These make a great side dish too.

Just follow these tips and you are out of the kitchen in no time. The portfolio and the air conditioning is now I thank you from the heat made dinner. Now you've fed a nice cheap and fastDinner every day and they do not complain it is not. You will find that you feel better out in the summer for a lighter meal, and not by the heat of the kitchen.

Family Activities For Summer

Nobody likes to be stuck in a house all day, especially when the weather is beautiful outside! Grab your family and find something interesting and entertaining to do. Use your imagination and explore the wonders of Summer.

There are many fun activities to do, and even more when there is a lake or forest close. You could go camping... yes, tents, sleeping bags, flashlights and lanterns, cooking over the fire, and the whole nine yards. It really is not as bad as you would think. Sure the ground can be a little hard, and you might get a little cold. All in all though, it is an awesome experience. Lying underneath the stars and just watching them is very calming.

Another thing kids and adults love to do in the summer is to go swimming, so do it often and have fun as a family. Whether it is a pool or a lake get everyone together and go swimming as a family outing. You can take inner tubes, water balls, diving rings, almost any water toy and play a game and have fun with it. What else matters besides fun when you are having a family outing?

Other water activities could also be fun, for instance, who doesn't love boating? Letting the wind whip through your hair, or diving off the back of a boat and swimming is major excitement for everyone. There are many things you can do while boating. Skiing, barefoot or with skis, tubing, water boarding, and wave boarding are some. You can do activities or just sit back for the ride. Either way it is always nice to spend a little quality time with the ones you love and care for.

Kids love animals, so take them to the zoo. What other place can you get to see exotic animals, feed the animals, watch them feed themselves, and play? The bears, tigers, lions, alligators, snakes, oh my, are so exciting. The zoo will have everyone in the family jumping for joy. After the zoo you could always take a walk in the park. Not only is this helping you exercise but gives you a chance to talk as a family. While in the park help your kids to fly a kite. Watching a kite fly up so high in the air always catches little one's eyes. After you are done flying a kite maybe you hear a tummy growl. Have a picnic! With sandwiches, pickles, potato salad, macaroni salad, and whatever other yummy treat can fit in your picnic basket. Eating outside is always a reward.

Summer break doesn't always have to bore your children or you either in fact. You just have to find activities you and your family love to do together. Even turning simple chores into games can be entertaining and fun, plus you getting housework done in the process. So when summer hits this year, you now know how to plan a family outing.
